Robot Birthday Party

I don’t actually have the ‘Charge me up’ set myself, but was lucky someone else had it, so I could make this super cute card. At first I struggled a little bit with the background, but in the end I managed to pull off this super adorable Birthday theme. His antenna lights up too!

Materials used:

  • Lawn Fawn: ‘bicycle built for you’ stamps and dies (balloons)
  • Lawn Fawn: ‘holiday party animal’ stamps and dies (gift)
  • Lawn Fawn: ‘gleeful gardens’ stamps and dies (gift)
  • Lawn Fawn & Chibitronics: ‘Charge me up’ stamps and dies (robot and push here square)
  • Lawn Fawn ‘a little sparkle’ stamps for the sentiment inside the card
  • Lawn Fawn: “outside in stitched square stackables” dies
  • Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics: ‘Charge me up’ stamp set
  • Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Lawn Fawn merman ink for sentiment inside the card
  • White cardstock for card base
  • Silver glitter paper
  • Lawn Fawn spiffy speckles seafoam paper
  • Lawn Fawn mermaid cardstock
  • Copic Sketch Markers
  • White gel pen for accents
  • Foam tape
  • Stickles in color ‘icicle’
  • Acetate (covered in stickles to put under antenna)
  • Glue dots to lift the balloons off the background paper
  • 3V battery
  • Copper tape
  • LED circuit sticker
  • Action birthday flags cutting template
This is a very simple circuit, but it works really well. I used foam tape to secure everything and make it high enough so the battery would only work when pressing it.
