Mermaid Smile

Hello! I’m excited to announce that this month I will be a guest designer for Streamside Studios. I will be sharing a few cards in March and this is the first one.

Once I downloaded the digistamps I created a little scene on my computer. I used the ‘Mermazing Day‘ digistamps from Streamside Sudios. I lightened the lines a little bit before printing them, so my images would look a little more like no line coloring. Then I printed them on some copic friendly paper and I started coloring.

I used the following Copic Sketch Markers: 0, E00, E11, E21, E50, E53, RV11, R20, R83, R85, R89, BV000, BV01, BV02, B0000, B000, BG0000, BG000, BG10, BG11, BG15, BG23, BG49, YG00, YG01, YG03, YG06, YG09.

To give the images some sparkle and interest I used a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen as well as a white and black gelly roll pen. The black gel pen was mainly for the facial features, because the printed lines were light grey.

I cut the image to about 4 by 5,25 inches and glued it to a piece of Lawn Fawn peacock cardstock that was 4,25 by 5,5 inches. I attatched that to a card base and the card was done. I hope you like it!
