Yeti Christmas

It’s been a long time since I made a card with those cute yeti’s from last year’s release, so I got my sketchbook and sat down on the couch. The idea popped into my head to make the yeti’s decorate a Christmas tree, but I was still trying to figure out what background colors to use. I was looking for some inspiration online and then I came across a card from Grace Camou that just blew me away. After I saw that the whole card came together pretty quickly. So I sat down and filmed making it that same night. It took a few hours, but I am so happy with the result. It’s scary for me to make a card that has a lot of white (the snow, the frame, the yeti’s), but somehow those rainbow colors really make it pop. I used river rock ink, to give it a soft look. I wasn’t sure at first if it was the right choice, but I am glad I went with it. I hope you like the card as well!

I buy a lot of my stamps and dies from Yuki at https://www.cloud9crafts.nl/, so I’ve linked my used products to her website.
